BMSHealthandFitnezz Featured Exercise of the Day: Bear Plank to Full Plank Dynamic Hold – Core Training
Description & Technique:
Start in a bear plank hold—hands directly under shoulders, knees hovering an inch off the ground, core engaged, and back flat. From this position, extend both feet backward simultaneously into a full plank while maintaining a tight core and neutral spine. Hold briefly, then return both feet forward into the bear plank hold. Continue this movement in a controlled, fluid motion for up to 90 seconds.
Benefits:
• Core Strength & Stability: Engages deep abdominal muscles, improving overall core control.
• Upper Body Endurance: Strengthens shoulders, chest, and arms while maintaining proper form.
• Lower Body Activation: Targets quads and glutes as they stabilize movement.
• Cardiovascular Boost: Increases heart rate when performed in a continuous sequence.
• Functional Fitness: Enhances mobility and coordination by integrating dynamic movement patterns.
