Sunday Dinner: Simple, Nutritious & Quick!

This Sunday was all about balance—moderate nutrition, convenience, and more time to relax! Dinner featured cheesy ground turkey meat sauce spaghetti casserole, baked shrimp, and Caesar salad—easy, delicious, and a step up in health from traditional choices.

By meal planning ahead, I had my pre-portioned ground turkey and shrimp thawed, and I double-checked my ingredients—spaghetti sauce, shredded cheese, and packaged salad—ensuring a stress-free prep.

Healthier swaps made a difference:
🦃 Ground turkey instead of beef for lower fat and calories
🌾 Wheat spaghetti for half the pasta, adding fiber and nutrients
🦐 Baked shrimp for lean protein and omega-3s

This isn’t a “perfectly clean” meal, but it’s healthier because of intentional choices. Small, consistent changes like these add up over time—start where you are and build healthier habits step by step!

Nutritional Benefits:
🦃 High in protein – Supports muscle repair and keeps you full
🌾 Fiber boost – Wheat pasta aids digestion and gut health
🦐 Omega-3s in shrimp – Heart and brain health benefits
🥗 Leafy greens & healthy fats – Essential nutrients for overall wellness

What’s one small healthy swap you can make in your meals? Please share in your response back. Let’s build better habits together by sharing! 🙌🏾
